Lemme explain about Azure, to all you MS fanbois, and especially all enterprise customers, out there.
Microsoft Azure, and Entra ID, all runs on Linux. All that they did is take a Linux box, put LDAP on it, and made a pretty front end, read as a GUI, for it.
Same way with Entra ID. Take a Linux box, put the kerberos protocol on it, and make a pretty front end for it.
Sleep tight.
MS has officially lost the OS war. They are America in the Vietnam war. They are the Soviet Union in the Soviet-Afghan war. Heh, they are America in the America-Iran war of 2026.
They just don’t realize it yet. They have won a pyrrhic victory. A victory that is so costly to them, that it’s equivalent to a defeat.

I’d be happier than a pig in shit if I could find a job doing all Linux stuff. As long as I’m helping to spread the word of Linux… Fuck, I’m all for it.
That’s not to say that I think that Linus Torvalds is some kind’a god. Fuck that. No, no, no.I do think that he has tapped into something that will leave even huge corporations reeling though. Listening Intel? Listening MicroSoft? What is this magical superpower that he has tapped into?
People. Everyday, ordinary, people. People who just wanna get shit done, without fucking around with, “Oh, is this gonna change my workflow from one day to the next?”
Screw that. Once you get Linux set up, it can last you for years. Decades, even.
And if you don’t like something, you can change it. Agreeably, with a whole lotta googling, and maybe some chatgpt, on your side. A whole lotta hair being pulled out.Did you know that Auto-Tune was developed by somebody that was ribbed by a colleague’s wife? No joke. Now look at it. It’s being used,copiously IMO, by musicians today.
