  • Reaction to Charlie Kirk

As a whole, the reaction to Charlie Kirk’s shooting has been divided, to say the least.

On the left, you have people offering their thoughts and prayers, for both him, his family, his wife, etc.

On the right however, you have people crying over him like he was the messiah, sent from the heavens above, and vowing payback to the Democrats.

    I even saw this :

WTF?! MLK? I mean, what in the actual fuck?!

They are reacting like Charlie Kirk was the president, and he was shot.

Which, I guess, makes sense, Charlie Kirk was their shadow president.

It was Hitler in power in Germany. But there were a whole lotta people below him, carrying out evil heinous shit. If you were to take out the top amongst them, you would see a truly vitriolic backlash, like we’re seeing here. Because power only cares about holding power.

And that’s all that the Republican party is, nowadays.

  • Taylor Lorenz is a right wing plant

Let me start off by defining some terms I’m going to be using in this post.

RepuLite — What I used to call Libertarian. I mean, take a look at Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, and Jeff Bezos. All three identified as libertarian at one time, now all three are in the can for Trump.

Now, let me start off this post by stating that Taylor is technically correct.

We should remove all dark money from politics.

But this is only 2%-8% of the story. How did I arrive at those percentages, you might be asking. I’ll get back to that.

Instead of covering the Russians paying people $100,000 per video, no Taylor decides to go for people making only $8,000, and that’s per month. And that’s not including the amount set up by dogmatic preachers. It’s picking on the left, those fucking libtards, and laughing at them. Instead of punching up, by reporting on the republicans, and repulites… No, she decided to punch down.

    So, she was technically right.

    She just wasn’t correct.

But I guess humanity and logic don’t go together well, huh Taylor?

EDIT : Oh yah, how I got to 2%-8%. $8000/$100000 = .08. Dave Rubin and Tim Pool. I also believe that Benny Johnson was involved, but I can’t prove that because the right wing is so bathed in blood money that it’s fucking ridiculous.

  • Emily The Criminal

I truthfully find that the further and further I look, I see no one going backwards in time, especially for the times that we find ourselves in.

Emily The Criminal does just that. It almost feels like a movie ripped straight from the 70’s. Where nobody can win, the good guy always loses.

Except, it’s set in today’s times. With today’s crushing student debt. With today’s youth, unable to find jobs. With today’s youth being asked to work for no pay.

I love the line, “Hey, you wanna tell me what to do, put me on the fucking payroll.

In my mind eye, it’s an almost perfect representation of not only what today’s young people are going through, it’s almost perfect representation of what we’re going through as a nation.

And the lengths some of us have to go to simply to advance. This isn’t about getting ahead. This isn’t about gaining some high paying job straight out of college, for those that can even find a job straight out of college.

No, it’s simply inching their way along. Crawling, before walking. Except, that we, as a society, keep on kicking them back. Screaming at them, “THAT’S MINE!”

  • I’d be happier than a pig in shit

I’d be happier than a pig in shit if I could find a job doing all Linux stuff. As long as I’m helping to spread the word of Linux… Fuck, I’m all for it.

That’s not to say that I think that Linus Torvalds is some kind’a god. Fuck that. No, no, no.

I do think that he has tapped into something that will leave even huge corporations reeling though. Listening Intel? Listening MicroSoft? What is this magical superpower that he has tapped into?

People. Everyday, ordinary, people. People who just wanna get shit done, without fucking around with, “Oh, is this gonna change my workflow from one day to the next?”

Screw that. Once you get Linux set up, it can last you for years. Decades, even.

And if you don’t like something, you can change it. Agreeably, with a whole lotta googling, and maybe some chatgpt, on your side. A whole lotta hair being pulled out.

Did you know that Auto-Tune was developed by somebody that was ribbed by a colleague’s wife? No joke. Now look at it. It’s being used, copiously IMO, by musicians today.

That’s the power of Linux. It’s not computers. It’s not code.

    It’s people.

  • Welp…

Just signed up to take the RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator), Pray for me. Pray for the $500 it cost me just to be able to sit down and take the test.

  • Sec+ re-certification passed!

Jeezus was that a PITA. On to the RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator)!

  • Andor season 2

This is some of the best writing I think I’ve ever seen on television. I mean, we’re talking ‘Felina‘ type of good. We’re talking about ‘The Empire Strikes Back‘ good. The way it’s shot, the acting; it’s just, in a word, awesome.

And Harvest, Season 2 episode 3? OMG. You can’t ask for a more picture perfect center piece on feminine power, in my opinion.

First off, you have Bix who is almost raped. She’s fights off her attacker.

Then, you have Dedra, who puts her lover’s mother in her place.

Then, you’ve got Mon Mothma, who just dances to that repetitive, but catchy, tune… Just like she’s going to have to be doing for the rest of the resistance.

Then you’ve got Cinta, who, it’s heavily implied, kills Tay.

    So, IMO…

Fight like Bix, argue like Dedra. rebel like Mon Mothma, and kill like Cinta.

Just a chef’s kiss to whoever directed this episode. Thank you.
